Digital confidence, beyond the classroom.

AI and EdTech development for colleagues across teaching, IT, HR and Finance.

APPROACH

Practical demonstration & coaching

Applicable to cross-functional capability programmes and change enablement.

30–60Participants per session
01 / THE CHALLENGE

Colleagues across different roles need useful ways to apply emerging tools to their work.

I volunteered to deliver digital and AI professional development at approximately three Luminate staff development events.

02 / THE APPROACH

Understand. Build. Refine.

  1. 01

Used practical tasks to make unfamiliar capabilities easier to understand.

  2. 02

Connected demonstrations to everyday work across teaching and support functions.

  3. 03

Explained technical ideas in accessible language and encouraged questions.

03 / THE EVIDENCE

What changed.

Typical attendance was around 30–60 staff per session. Feedback indicated useful training and examples of applying it to reduce workload; no quantified time-saving study is claimed.

04 / REFLECTION

What I would carry forward.

A shared workshop needs different entry points for different levels of confidence.

What I’d test next

Follow up on applied practice and gather specific task-level evidence of time saved.

Beyond education

Applicable to cross-functional capability programmes and change enablement.
